Detailed itinerary

Day 1 – Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave & Bungalow

07:30–8:00: Be picked up by our amiable guide and head to the province of Ninh Binh.

09:15: Take a quick 15–20 minute break to unwind.

10:30: Visit Hoa Lư, the former Vietnamese capital that existed from 968 to 1010. You can study Vietnamese history during the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties, when the country was still ruled by feudalism.

11:45: Enjoy a lunch buffet at the restaurant featuring a variety of regional fare, including fried rice, fish, chicken, and goat meat.There are always vegetarian options at the lunch buffet.

13:00: Take a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride to Tam Coc. During the boat ride, you will be astounded by the enchanting beauty of the surrounding paddy fields, river, water, clouds, sky, and breathtaking cave system. Together, they create a work of art known to the Vietnamese as “Ha Long Bay on land.”

14:30: Cycle around the village for 45 minutes to learn more about the locals’ way of life as you continue the trip.

15:30: Return to the limousine bus and head to Mua Cave, also known as the Dancing Cave. Climb over 500 stairs to the summit of Lying Dragon Mountain for a breathtaking vantage point over Tam Coc.

16:30: Transfer to Ninh Binh Bungalow.

19:00 At Ninh Binh Bungalow, dinner.

Day 2: Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay

6:45–7:00 From Ninh Binh Bungalow, a limousine bus will pick you up and take you to Halong Bay.

11:45 Arrive at Tuan Chau marina, get a welcome drink, and go on your trip. Attend a briefing about your forthcoming trip, meet the captain and crew, and hear basic safety instructions.

Savour lunch in the opulent dining room that has both indoor and outdoor seating. As you cruise through Gia Luan Harbour, Con Vit Islet, Thumb Islet, and Lan Ha Bay. Depending on the weather, drop anchor at Ba Trai Dao Beach for swimming or kayaking, or visit Dark and Bright Caves.

Join us on the sundeck as the sun sets to take in the breathtaking sky’s colour and unwind with tea, coffee, and a cookery demonstration. Join the sunset party to meet new people, or just unwind in the onboard Jacuzzi pool.

Before savouring dinner, watch the cooking demonstration to learn how to prepare the well-known classic Vietnamese spring rolls. After supper, unwind with an extensive assortment of cocktails at the rooftop bar, or play games, watch a movie, go squid fishing, or schedule a massage (not included in the package).

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

06:30 Take a Tai Chi class on the sundeck at 6:30 a.m. to help condition your body and help focus your thoughts. Savour a modest breakfast while admiring the breathtaking vistas of the Bay and its striking limestone islands. Navigate the serene emerald waters to Ao Ech in order to go cave kayaking.

Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch after exploring the caves on your own or in a kaya. Return to Tuan Chau Marina via speedboat after disembarking from the cruise.

11:40 Pickup and return transfer by limousine bus to Hanoi.

15:00 The final journey to Hanoi and hotel drop-off.
