Day 1: Sai Gon – Long An – My Tho (Lunch, dinner)

Vietnam Backstreet Tours offers great 2-days Off The Beaten Track Mekong Delta Vespa Tour departing from Saigon to enable travelers’ chance to go on an adventure and authentic Mekong at the same time off the crowd and see peaceful Saigon countryside and the Mekong at a glimpse.

What can you expect? The ride of a lifetime, the beautiful rural areas, the rice fields, farmlands, local ferries crossing, the local market, and small waterways.

On this 2-days Off The Beaten Track Mekong Delta Vespa Tour, travelers experience a glimpse of authentic Mekong life from the back of our vintage vespas that is off the beaten track and real life experience along the rides with visits en-route that the tour bus windows can not access!

In the morning, our Vespa Tours drivers will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and ride to The Suburban Market – a stunning rural market with the scene changes from bustling streets with buildings and noise to peaceful rice paddles with cottages and small houses on the way – in the open air.

You will then drive on the rural route to The Local Ferries with stops en route to see farmers working on paddy fields. To discover the inner Mekong, we will cross local river by the ferry then ride inner Mekong Delta for further local daily life, and have local lunch break.

After lunch, we will ride through the rustic and mighty Mekong with daily local life along the ride with stop visiting the rice fields, dragon fruit farm, farmland, crossing the local ferries and catch a great local hospitality. Check into the home stay and free to have a break and shower before our delicious will be served at the host family. You will stay overnight with peaceful night time sounds!

Day 2: Ben Tre – Long An – Saigon (Breakfast, lunch)

You will wake up with lovely creature songs and islanders daily life, and get ready for a local coffee and tea while chatting with the host.

After have breakfast, we will take the boat cruise along the Mekong River Tien Giang and Ben Tre for the discovery with visits to the local farm land, and activities such as coconut candy making, fish farm, bee-keeping farm, take a small rowing boat into the water canal for deeper inside the local daily life and nice palm along the water ways.

We will ride up the Mekong bridge to Long An via Mekong River with panoramic view. Have local coffee break and keep riding back-roads to Tan An with peaceful rice fields, fruits tree, and waterways.

We will arrive in Saigon center about 5 pm. End services at your hotel on arrival.
